Petaling Jaya, 29 November 2009 – Selangor Menteri Besar said that Jalan Tanjung, Bandar Utama will be reopened tomorrow. If the road is not opened by tomorrow, he will personally remove the barricades.

He said that the developer will open the road as a one-way road for two weeks.

During the Bandar Tun Razak constituency event this afternoon, he said that the study includes the usage of the road and the feasibility to convert it into four lanes.

If feasible, the road will be converted to a two-way road

“The road will be reopened as one-way road tomorrow. Later on, a meeting will be held to for a feasibility discussion. If feasible, the road will be converted into two-way.”

Regarding the objection raised by the residents, he said that the state is working to figure out a comprehensive solution.
