Of most concern amongst schools and parents is the heavy traffic during noon.

Petaling Jaya (17 November) – Parents of SJC Damansara are now either leaving their house earlier or later to send their children to school in order to avoid jam, thus the traffic condition this morning improved.

However, of most concern amongst schools and parents is the heavy traffic during noon.
The president of PIBG SJC Damansara, Ong Siew Sang said parents who were caught in the jam a day earlier had learnt to adjust the time of sending their children to school to avoid getting caught again; thus, traffic on Wednesday morning was smoother.

“However, we were concerned with the traffic at 12.30pm when parents pick up children from the morning session and send their kids for the afternoon session; it will be a mess especially with cars that need to make U-turn”.

He was accompanied by headmaster, Ho Jun Hing to make an inspection on the traffic condition while interviewed by Sin Chew Metro this morning.

Urge to re-open the road

Ong Siew Sang said, the closure is deemed to be sudden and it causes inconvenience to residents, thus we hope that the developer would open the road for the convenience of the public.

“We have appealed to MBPJ and hope that the authorities would give positive response by re-opening the road”.

Due to the road closure, many users have to turn in to Persiaran Tropicana and it causes heavy traffic; the route which is normally a five-minute journey now takes up 20 minutes.
